Support For Your Committee - Junior Convenor

A half day workshop, delivered by ClubGolf and the Scottish Golf Club Development Team, to support the Junior Convenor and their team to establish a forward looking plan for the benefit of Junior golfers and your club.

Junior golfers are the future of your club and of the sport in Scotland. With the growth of participation through the national ClubGolf programme, and the development of pathways for talented players there has never been a better time for your club to provide great golfing opportunities for young people. In most clubs those in charge of the junior section are faced with a range of requirements from organising coaching, running events, providing competitive golf opportunities, and recruiting & supporting volunteers, all of this within the demands of a traditional golf club environment. This half-day education seminar is to provide new and existing Junior Organisers, and their senior ‘workforce’ - volunteers, club staff, or club professional - the opportunity to establish a forward-looking plan for Junior Golf that fits your golf club’s particular situation.
